{Teens/Seniors} Gardenia

We had the pleasure of photographing Miss Gardenia this past weekend. We’ve had to reschedule this shoot a couple of times, and thought the incoming storm Bonnie might wreck our plans once again, but luckily the rain held off until later that night.

Gardenia, you’re beautiful, inside and out.

{Personal} Pictures are a safe for our memories

The emotions that we experience when we look at  a photograph of a moment in our lives is what interested me in photography in the first place. Growing up, I had so many special moments, few of which were captured on camera. Now they can only be relayed by words, and not visually through a picture.  But nothing speaks louder and clearer than a photograph. Even with time there may be specific parts of that memory that we forget, but that can maybe be retrieved as we visit our photos from memories past.

We had the opportunity to shoot pictures of our niece Leah going to her first ever Easter Egg Hunt and we had a blast just watching her enjoy and observe all the goings on that day. She is growing very fast!!

She loves chocolate and when she found what was inside of the eggs, she became so excited.

I love this one because is in the moment when my niece finds out that there is something inside of the egg.

Here she imitates her mother as she is handed her first piece of  ‘colate’ (as in chocolate).

Receiving her first Easter chocolate from mommy!!!

I’m glad we were there to be able to capture these moments for her.
