Sarah was one of my (Iván) high school friends and when we found out about the possibility of her and her husband, Edwin, ending up in the area, we immediately got excited about the prospect. We have gotten to know them more as a couple since last year and were really excited to find out that they wanted us to help document their 2 year wedding anniversary.

We hope that these images convey the love that they have for each other that is evident to us every time we are around them. (Be sure to check out the slideshow below for more images.)

I finally was able to convince my parents to pose for us for some updated portraits. It had been a while since they’ve had any sort of photos taken of them together. We were there this weekend having an early birthday celebration for my dad, and so we took that opportunity to go outside for a few shots:

Luckily, the weather was cooperating that day. It was fairly warm and sunny, and the ground was not too soggy from the recent rains, as we walked around their property, affectionately known as “The Farm”.

All of us kids are grown and out of the house, and now they just have their “fur babies”, Inky and Maddie at home with them. If you know us, you know that we are a dog loving family.  Among the three children, my parents have six “granddogs”.

In this shot, we didn’t intend to have Inky and Maddie in the picture with them, but the dogs “insisted”.  It was good, though, that we caught this image with them together, a little family portrait.

I’m glad we were able to captures these images of you guys. Not only for you to have updated photos for yourselves, but also to preserve these memories for us. Dahlin’!
