We are gearing up to head out to New Orleans for a little visit with our family before attending After Dark Education this week. We’re excited to get our learn on, to be inspired, and glean as much knowledge as we can for our art and business.  It will also be nice to meet up with some of our other photog friends that we’ve met over this year, and catch up with them.

And because blog posts are better with pictures, here are some “before and after” images of Zoe:

It was almost a birth of sorts. Nine months of planning and preparing, and in this case, the fruits of labor being a beautiful wedding.  Another member of the family was officially added last weekend at my sister Megan’s wedding to Bryan at Oak Knoll Country Club in Hammond, La.  I blogged about their engagement session here.

Although never having had shot a wedding before, we decided we’d embark on this adventure with them.  Decided to walk into the lion’s den, or, jump in with both feet, as it were. It was a great experience, and we learned a lot!

Big shout out to my cousin Trey Harrison for helping us out. We look forward to collaborating again one day!

They ended the night with a second line parade of sorts followed by shouts of “Who Dat!?”
