Our niece Zoe decided to wait until the fun and excitement of this weekend with Megan and Bryan‘s wedding was over to make her grand entrance into the world. When we woke up this morning, we found out that she was born at 5:14 a.m.  She ended up with a cool birthday, 10/10/10!

We are in the thick of preparing for Megan and Bryan’s upcoming wedding next week. We took a little mental breather to attend the local fall fest today, and then headed home to catch the second half of the LSU vs. Tennessee game.

Rosie usually doesn’t stick around the living room once the excitement of the game and the screaming at the tv ensues. She is the queen of finding the most comfortable spots in the house, even if that is a pillow on the nightstand.

Billy wasn’t far behind her in escaping the living room once the jumping up and hollering started in disbelief and frustration when at first everyone thought that Tennessee had won, and then happiness (and still disbelief) when in fact LSU was able to score the winning touchdown at the end (whew!).
