Last week we rented the 85 mm 1.2 for a wedding that we helped shoot. As per usual when testing new lenses, I often turn to my two little in house models, our dogs Billy and Rosie.

Billy was the most cooperative that day:

It’s May already- the year is flying by, it seems. It’s Spring in Louisiana, the weather has been great for the most part, and lending itself to comfortable afternoons/evenings spent outside. We better enjoy it while it lasts, before the hot and humid weather rolls in and decides to stay for a while.

Some of my favorite things about Spring are the nice weather, crawfish boils/barbeques, get togethers, and of course, all that’s in bloom this time of year.

Recently we visited our local park, sat in the shade, enjoying the warm afternoon breeze.

My family got together a couple of weekends ago to celebrate the engagement of my little brother and his fiance with a get together and BBQ.
